Wound Clinic Design
If you are opening a new wound clinic or redesigning an existing one, we offer professional consulting services to help you design the most modern and effective clinic with International standards. Our experienced practitioners and managers will evaluate your existing wound care site or your plans for new construction and offer design recommendations to make your clinic modern, efficient and ready for accreditation. We will consult regarding the physical design and instrumentation as well as charting and medical record keeping. Accreditation adds value to your facility by branding it with excellence so having consulting advice prior to any remodeling or construction is a great investment. We provide these services both onsite and remotely.
Accreditation
Wound care programs in hospitals and clinics can apply for accreditation from IDWI. This is a thorough process that begins with an initial on-site visit by experienced clinicians and administrators. Following the visit, the Hospital or Clinic will receive a report detailing the findings of the on-site survey which will include goals to complete in order to earn accreditation. A follow up on-site visit will then be scheduled and the facility reevaluated and graded. If evaluation is successful then IDWI will provide the facility with a certification good for 3 years. Accreditation gives your center International branding of excellence and attracts the most desirable patients and customers. Accreditation usually requires an onsite inspection but because of recent travel restrictions we can arrange for this to be done remotely.
